Exactly! The 3D version gives a strong visual vibe for social media posts and digital ads. But for physical printing, the flat version is definitely the way to go. Thanks for the feedback!
The flat mark stays legible as a tiny badge — favicon, app icon — where the metallic version's highlights would likely blur together at that size, even though it reads bolder on a big hero banner.
Great point, Mark! Absolutely agree. Large marketing displays love the 3D pop, but UI legibility at tiny scale is where the flat mark really wins. Appreciate the great insight
2D for me. The metallic version leans on gradients and bevels that mostly vanish once the mark is stamped on a meter, embroidered, or printed one-colour, and an energy brand ends up in a lot of those places. The flat one still reads at 16px.
Thanks for the insightful feedback, Artur! Completely agree with your point about scalability and practical branding applications. The 2D vector version definitely holds up much better at smaller sizes!

I'm torn on this one honestly, A feels warmer and more editorial while B leans a little more retail-catalog. What made you land on testing this pair specifically instead of two totally different concepts?

A full brand identity for Down Bad Denim Co., a premium small-batch denim label specialising in embroidery, rhinestone embellishments, and statement-making fashion.
The brief called for a visual identity that feels expressive, fashion-forward, and unmistakably premium — equally at home in a boutique window and on a social feed.
We built a complete brand system covering the logo suite, typography, color palette, packaging, and label design. Every decision was made to match the quality and boldness of the product itself.
The leopard print carrying through the packaging and label design, not just the apparel, is what makes this feel like a real system instead of just a logo with some product shots attached. Did the client come in with rhinestones as a non-negotiable, or did you push for that during the process?
