Good website animation should not simply make elements move.
It should make the brand feel alive.
I recently worked on the Bang Bang Labs website, where I used GSAP to create smooth and controlled animations across selected sections.
The website has a bold and energetic visual identity.
So standard fade-in animations would not have been enough.
The motion needed to reflect the same personality:
Fast.
Experimental.
Playful.
Intentional.
While developing the animations, I focused on:
• Creating smooth transitions between elements • Controlling the timing and sequence of each movement • Revealing content at the right moment • Supporting the visual hierarchy • Keeping the experience consistent across screen sizes • Making the motion feel connected to the brand
GSAP gave me more control over how individual elements entered, moved, and interacted throughout the experience.
But the most important part was not the animation library.
It was deciding where animation added value—and where it would only create distraction.
Every movement should have a purpose.
It should guide attention, strengthen the story, or improve the transition between sections.
Because a successful animation is not the one users notice first.
It is the one that makes the overall experience feel natural.
Where do you think website animation adds the most value: storytelling, navigation, or visual engagement? #webflowGSAPanimation #websitedesign #responsivewebsite #saaswebsite #website #figmatowebflow
