VPS Hosting
There are many solutions for hosting your application, Netlify, Vercel, Railway and many more.
I started of using Netlify, I tried Vercel and it was a good experience.
I also tried hosting my apps using an Ubuntu VPS, with Nginx as my web server and reverse proxy. That was a good learning experience but it wasn't the ideal.
I then discovered Coolify and that really changed up the game for me. It made hosting easier, it allowed me to automatically push code to the front end and it manage my Directus instance using docker compose which was great.
There are no hidden fees and I manage my VPS and I decide how I want it configured. This solution may not be a fit for everyone, but I do think, if you're up for the challenge and it could meet your projects need, it may be worth it.
