I was looking for a Grammarly alternative and found next tool - Humalingo.
Key features: detecting AI-generated text & ‘humanizing’ it. Relevant for me - yes-yes, I use AI to help me be more clear and professional in my written communication 👩🏻‍💻 As Claude once described my writing - “stream of consciousness” 🥲
The tool gives me 3 free attempts ⬇️
Attempt 1. I upload the text edited by AI. The result: 5% human touch, 95% AI. Fair enough 🤖
Attempt 2. I upload my original text. The result: 6% human touch, 94% AI 😲 What? How? I now have many questions related to the tool’s accuracy. But OK, let’s see how it can ‘humanize’ my writing 🧐
Attempt 3. I click ‘fix all issues’ - it thinks for a bit, while showing funny gifs - not going to lie, very entertaining. And then, I meet the familiar paywall ‘Upgrade to unlock’. What a tease! 😤
It does suggest a 7-day trial for €2, but it has not 'humanized' even one sentence for me and already asks for money.
Free trials exist to show what product can do, not to put users on a 'hook' before delivering at least something.
