Dallas Mavericks Logo Reimagine
A modern take on the Mavericks identity built around speed, horsepower, and Dallas pride. This concept keeps the core DNA of the brand — the horse, shield, star, blue, silver, and white — while pushing the mark into a sharper, more premium sports identity direction.
The goal was to create a logo system that feels bold, competitive, and arena-ready while still honoring the Mavericks’ original visual language.

This is a concept that came to me while imagining what might remain after the complete collapse of life on Earth. In a distant future where the planet has become an endless wasteland of ruins, storms, and forgotten civilizations, the last trace of humanity survives in the form of a colossal moving city built in the shape of a giant elephant. Known as the Elephant City, this mechanical titan endlessly wanders across the dead world, carrying the remnants of human knowledge, technology, and history upon its back. No humans are ever seen, and no living creatures remain; their existence is only felt through the abandoned infrastructure, automated systems, and silent architecture that continue to function long after their creators have vanished. As the Elephant City journeys through ancient ruins and mysterious landscapes, it becomes both a monument to a lost civilization and a symbol of humanity's final legacy, searching for meaning in a world that has already reached its end.

Started this project with a pretty open brief — a SaaS launch film that needed to feel premium. That was it. Honestly, those are my favorite kinds of creative challenges. No rigid direction means I actually get to think through the visual hierarchy and figure out what would make someone stop scrolling, or what would make the whole thing feel less like a boring product demo and more like an immersive moment.
Because I was handling this from end to end, I spent the first chunk of time just focusing on the brand identity, concept, and UI layout. I've always believed that animation built on top of weak design logic never holds up, so I really needed that structural foundation to feel right before touching a single keyframe. From there, it was all about dialing in the tactile feel. I wanted snappy curves, smooth transitions that guide your eye naturally, a minimal voice UI that feels like it breathes, and a clean logo exit that lands with some actual weight at the end.
This project represents the exact kind of intentional, end-to-end motion graphics and UI animation work I specialize in.
