Using "useFocusEffect" from "@react-navigation/native" is often better than "useEffect" when you're dealing with screen-specific logic in React Navigation.
"useEffect runs" when the component mounts ā
but "useFocusEffect" šæšš»š š²šš²šæš šš¶šŗš² ššµš² šš°šæš²š²š» š°š¼šŗš²š š¶š»šš¼ š³š¼š°šš, making it perfect for:
- Refreshing data when a user returns to a screen
- Re-running listeners or subscriptions
- Resetting UI state only when the screen is active
It helps keep your app reactive and avoids stale data.
