For this project, I challenged myself to explore what a Samsung Galaxy AI commercial could look like through the lens of AI video generation and SaaS-inspired motion design.
The result? A blend of cinematic product visuals, futuristic interfaces, and smooth motion graphics designed to make a simple 10 seconds count.
This is an independent spec ad, created as a creative exploration of what's possible when AI meets visual storytelling.
I'm excited to keep pushing boundaries, experimenting with new techniques, and creating visuals that help brands stand out.

Neon - Cyberpunk Kinetic Highlight Trails
The Visual Aesthetic: Think Wong Kar-wai's Chungking Express mixed with Blade Runner 2049. Light sources—street lamps, neon signs, headlights, and glowing storefronts—leave soft, directional light streaks across the dark backdrop as the camera moves.
I started with five separate night-time clips and used invideo Editor's AI editing agent to transform them into one connected cinematic sequence. I wanted the bright practical lights in each shot to feel like they had a physical presence in the scene, leaving atmospheric trails as the camera and subjects moved.
The agent generated two versions of the effect, including an editable directional streak-and-glow approximation. I chose the editable version and set the source footage to 720p before generating the effect.
After seeing the initial result, I prompted the agent to make further changes, refining the highlight response, glow, intensity, and direction of the trails. I wanted the effect to feel less like a generic digital filter and more like photographic light persistence.
The final sequence gradually builds from subtle streaks into a stronger visual climax around the passing car and running shots, while keeping the original footage visible underneath.

Every designer I know is asking the same question right now: what's left for us when AI can make something pretty in 10 seconds?
Here's my honest answer, from branding and from product.
The way I work has completely changed. Moodboards, variations, mockups, even clickable prototypes: what used to take days now takes hours.
But here's what nobody says out loud: people are making a lot of pretty things. And pretty doesn't build a brand.
Pretty doesn't tell a stranger why they should trust you.
Pretty doesn't make your offer clear in 5 seconds.
Pretty doesn't fix the screen where users give up.
That part is still on me. It's actually most of my job now.
So I stopped seeing AI as a competitor. It does the drafts, I do the thinking, and my clients get both, faster.
