Why your SaaS landing page isn’t converting.
Most early-stage SaaS products don’t have a design problem - they have a positioning problem.
I found this open-source AI tool with strong technical value, but its hero didn’t clearly show:
- who it’s for
- what makes it different
- why I should trust it
The headline was generic. Both CTAs had equal weight. No trust signals for new visitors.
So I made a minimal hero refinement:
- Clarified the value (control + own LLM keys)
- Reworked hierarchy
- Prioritized the main CTA
- Removed header noise
- Added trust bullets (free, no credit card, open source)
Small structural changes clearer message stronger first impression higher conversion potential.
Good SaaS design isn’t about looking better. It’s about making the value obvious in 5 seconds.
