One story. Two ways to read it.

I built this interaction study with an immersive night view and a quieter editorial reading view. Switching layouts keeps the same conversation in place, so the visual style changes without losing your progress.

The working demo includes a five-step story, preset choices, a bookmark toggle and a motion control. The two images are actual browser captures of the coded interface.

Independent fictional demonstration: the story and character artwork were created with AI. Replies are preset; there is no live messaging service.

I didn’t want dragging to be the only way this reorder queue worked.

You can move tracks with the keyboard, jump with Home/End, and get position updates through assistive tech. There’s reduced-motion support too.

I spent almost as much time on keyboard behaviour as the drag.

Between 2018 and 2019, I built The End of Emotional Privacy, my Master's thesis at IAAC exploring how empathy could be felt physically.

I designed a bodysuit that translates emotions into real-time heat, using infrared sensors to read body temperature and heat pads built from conductive thread, so happiness, sadness, anxiety, and fear could be physically felt on the wearer's back. I paired it with a live p5.js visualization so people could see the detected emotional state as well as feel it.

It was selected for Global Grad Show in Dubai, later exhibited at the Design Museum of Barcelona, and covered by El País and TV3.
