A client asked me to automate their follow-up emails. Recruiters were forgetting to chase candidates, and good people went cold.
I automated it. It took two days.
Then I looked at where their time was actually going. Every new vacancy meant an hour of manual research — salary benchmarks, competitor postings, realistic timelines. Nobody had asked me to touch that, because it didn't feel like a "process." It felt like just part of the job.
That's the one that gave them their week back.
The thing worth automating is usually the thing nobody complains about. People complain about tasks they forget. They don't complain about tasks they've accepted as normal.
