AI fluency, applied to business — not just talked about.

I recently completed Dubai Future Foundation's One Million Prompters initiative, part of the UAE's national AI strategy under HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed.

The relevant takeaway for clients I advise: prompt engineering is a management discipline, not a technical one. The same skill set that makes someone effective at writing a clear SOP or briefing a media buyer — precise problem definition, clear constraints, judgment on output — is what makes them effective at directing AI systems. I'm applying this directly in a live engagement, architecting a 40+ workflow AI automation system (ERP, workflow automation, AI agents) for a manufacturing client scaling toward multi Billion revenue.

If you're evaluating where AI capability should sit in your organization — I'd argue it belongs closer to the people who already understand the business problem end to end, not routed through IT or a junior hire by default.
