DUBAI — FROM SAND is a Fifth & Gold special issue on how a creek, a souk and the desert became Dubai within one lifetime. I developed the concept, wrote and edited the feature, selected and directed the imagery, and shaped the art direction and layout. It's a scrolling web edition in seven chapters, opening with a counter that runs the years from 1959 to 2026 as you scroll.
