Let me share something that looks overwhelming, but actually isn’t.

This interactive hero section.

And I’m giving away the Spline file for free so you can use it in your own projects.

Most people think building sections like this requires complex code or advanced 3D skills. But with Spline and Google AI Studio, it’s much simpler than it looks.

Here’s what I did.

In Spline, I created a star, duplicated it, and used a Boolean to make an inseted shape. Then I added a Cloner and set it to a 10 × 5 grid to create the repeating pattern.

To make it interactive, I enabled On Hover with: Sensitivity → 5 Damping → 0.79 Reset If → No Hover

Then I exported the scene, generated a 3 × 3 hero layout in Google AI Studio, and embedded the Spline scene as the background.

Feature sections on most SaaS websites rely on static screenshots or marketing graphics. I wanted to show how animation and interactivity can do a better job, not just making the section look premium, but giving visitors a chance to see how it feels to use the product before they sign up.

Where being a Creative Dev actually makes sense👇

A client recently told me something: “Everything is there… but something feels off.”

Sometimes the product is solid and the design is well-structured, but the experience just doesn't land. It feels flat and, above all, easy to forget.

That’s exactly where our role as Creative Devs shifts from technical to narrative. It’s not about "decorating"; it’s about fixing the flow.

For this project definitely one of my favorites from my first year as a freelancer we used Webflow, GSAP, and Spline to build what was missing: the pacing.

- Guiding the eye with transitions that feel natural. - Connecting sections so the scroll doesn't feel like a series of jumps. -Simplifying the complex through interactions that react to the user.

It’s amazing how the same message changes completely when you stop just "showing" and start "communicating" through motion. After 12 months of going solo, these are the projects that remind me why I chose this path.
