Project pricing used to be my biggest headache. That was before I started tracking everything in Notion. 18 months ago, I started to track profit on each project and it's been incredibly helpful when pricing new work. This gives me a birds-eye view of: - My most profitable projects - Projects I've lost money on - Projects that didn’t take me long - Projects that weren’t worth doing It has taken a lot of the guesswork out of pricing. Instead of relying on intuition, I can base my quotes on actual data from my own business. (screenshot shows fake project names and data for obvious reasons)

@Kyle Craven Tracking everything is key 👌 With the projects that you've lost money on, what's been the most common underlying reason?

@Ashleigh Menzies subjective feedback during the design phase can often derail a project. I've since been able to mitigate that by getting everyone aligned at the start of the project.

@Kyle Craven This is great! Did you notice anything on your business with this that you are willing to change or update for any upcoming projects?
I am also curious of how you set this up 🫣, I would love to implement something similar.
