Footers are usually the last thing anyone animates, so it is good to see one get real attention. Is the interaction built in Liquid and CSS, or does it pull in a JS library? On a store I would keep it idle until the footer scrolls into view, so it costs nothing on product pages.
Yes, that’s exactly how we implemented it. The interaction is done purely with Liquid and CSS, and all footer assets are lazy-loaded so they have no impact on product page performance.

For this project, the client wanted a more unconventional e-commerce feel for a brand focused on meditation materials, so I let the visuals do most of the talking.
