I’ve been thinking about something lately.
Does a wide tech stack signal versatility — or lack of focus?
I work across React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Three.js on the frontend, and Node, NestJS, Python, and .NET on the backend, along with platforms like Shopify and WordPress.
From SaaS dashboards to e-commerce systems and custom web apps, I’ve built across a pretty broad spectrum.
But here’s the real question:
When someone lands on my work, do they see “this person can build anything” — or “this is exactly who I need”?
Because those are very different signals.
Lately, I’ve been refining how I present my projects — not by reducing what I can do, but by making the value clearer:
→ What problem was solved → What impact it had → Why it mattered for the business
Not just the stack.
Curious how others think about this:
When you evaluate a developer, do you value range — or specialization?
