Modern Theory | Premium Fragrance & Candle E-commerce Website

Project Overview

Modern Theory is a premium home fragrance brand focused on clean ingredients, timeless design, and creating a calming atmosphere through thoughtfully crafted candles and home fragrances. The website concept combines minimalist aesthetics, editorial-style imagery, and an organized shopping experience to communicate the brand’s identity while making product discovery simple.

Design & Development

The website features a refined visual layout with neutral tones, elegant typography, high-quality product imagery, and carefully structured sections that showcase the brand’s collections and products.

Key Features & Functionality

Premium Homepage Design: A prominent hero section showcasing signature fragrances, promotional messaging, and clear calls to action.

Product Collections: Organized collections for signature candles, bestsellers, seasonal fragrances, accessories, and room sprays.

Product Discovery: Featured product sections that help visitors explore the catalog and discover relevant products.

Brand Storytelling: Dedicated sections communicating the founder’s story, brand philosophy, and commitment to clean ingredients.

Product Promotion: Discovery sets and curated product recommendations designed to encourage product exploration.

Responsive Layout: A layout designed to adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.

Customer Navigation: Structured menus, search, account access, and shopping-cart entry points.

Newsletter Signup: An email subscription section to support audience growth and ongoing customer communication.

Trust-Building Sections: Brand promises, ingredient messaging, shipping information, and customer support links.

Conversion-Focused CTAs: Strategically placed buttons guiding visitors toward collections, products, and shopping opportunities.

Kajabi Application

For a Kajabi implementation, this design direction can be adapted to support brand storytelling, lead capture, email marketing, digital fragrance guides, educational content, and customer nurturing. Physical product sales and advanced e-commerce functionality would need to be assessed against Kajabi’s current capabilities or handled through an appropriate external commerce integration.

Project Goal

The goal is to create a polished, brand-led digital experience that combines strong visual presentation with clear navigation, compelling storytelling, and a smooth path from discovery to action.

The full landing page design is complete.

I designed this website for a web design and development agency, with founders and growing businesses in mind.

Clear services, selected work, straightforward pricing and answers to common questions. Each section helps visitors understand the offer and take the next step.

Visually, I kept it consistent with teal accents, structured grids and corner details throughout.

Good to see all the sections come together.

Love how you’ve focused on clarity and consistency! The clear services and pricing make it easier for visitors to understand the offer and take the next step. 👏✨
