Duolingo owns green. Babbel owns orange. Every language app after them picks a single accent color and wraps their whole UI around it. This one said no - give every skill its own entire color world.

Pink for speaking, red for writing, yellow for expression, purple for listening. Each card is a full-bleed color block stacked behind the next one. It's doing two things at once: giving you instant visual recognition of what type of lesson you're about to do (you don't even need to read the label), and making the dashboard feel like there's always more underneath. That stacked-card depth is a motivation trick disguised as a layout choice.
