Today, I recreated this OG Breaking News intro in DaVinci Resolve’s Fusion 3D workspace!
Through this project, I learned the fundamentals of Fusion’s true 3D workspace — building shapes with textures, working with 3D views and cameras, adding lights, and rendering 3D objects into 2D.
A simple project, but a great step forward in understanding Fusion 3D.

Playing around with fuzzy tennis balls 🎾
The green one is fully 3D, made in Cinema 4D + Redshift. I then used Seedream 5.0 to quickly explore the pink version and experiment with a different color and feel.
Really enjoying this mix of traditional 3D and AI for fast visual exploration.
The fuzz on the green one is unreasonably convincing for a still render, that's not an easy material to fake in Cinema 4D. Now that you've tried both, would you actually finish a piece with Seedream, or is it staying a fast color and mood exploration tool before you commit to the full 3D render?
