Real eggs. No apologies 🥚
Spent the past week designing WHISK, an artisan mayonnaise brand built on one idea: even the most overlooked item in the fridge deserves a brand that takes it seriously.
No squeeze bottle, no label built to disappear into the shelf. Just a glass jar, a short ingredient list, and four flavors told apart by one accent color each. Classic, garlic and herb, smoked chili, vegan. 🫙

What type of combination is that?
Indian spirituality × Japanese minimalism × personality-driven clothing.
That’s Tenjiku.
But getting this combination right wasn’t as simple as putting three ideas together. We started with research digging into what Tenjiku means, where the name comes from, its cultural roots, and how those ideas could shape a visual identity without feeling forced or predictable.
From that research came the logo, typography, symbols, and the overall visual language.

Go check out the story behind Tenjiku
The research showing through the design is what makes this work. Love the Indian x Japanese balance - not easy to pull off but you nailed it.

We built the system around one metaphor: the laboratory. Strategy as an experiment and clarity as the result of patient work.
→ A monochrome palette, stripped of anything decorative
→ Precise, concept-driven typography with a custom symbol woven into the wordmark
→ Atmospheric glass photography against clean geometric forms
The whole system is meant to feel like a workshop, not a showroom. Transformation as something slow and carefully made, not performed.
Would you trust a branding studio more if its own brand looked like a lab, or like a gallery? 👇
The laboratory framing works because you're treating the studio's own identity as the experiment — the system has to earn its credibility by doing the reimagining it sells. The naming and taxonomy feel honest; if the system stretches into motion and sound, the same...
