One thing I’ve been thinking about lately while designing agency websites:
Most studio websites try too hard to impress in the first 5 seconds.
Huge animations, overloaded hero sections, too much movement everywhere.
But the projects I keep coming back to are usually the quieter ones. Strong typography, intentional spacing, restrained motion, and a layout that lets the work breathe.
For this concept, the goal was clarity first. Make the experience feel premium without shouting for attention.
Still one of my favorite directions recently.
What’s your preference lately, louder interactive sites or more restrained minimal ones?
I can't believe it's 2026 and some contractors are taking a week to get back to people for a QUOTE.

Most testimonial sections look forgettable.
So I explored 2 different directions for this client review card redesign:
→ Version 1 focused on bold energy and strong contrast
→ Version 2 focused on a softer premium feel
Same content.
Completely different emotional impact.
That’s the part most designers ignore:
UI is not only about layout.
It’s about perception.
