Looking for a YouTube Editor for a New Channel

I’m looking for a video editor who can edit highly polished YouTube documentary/storytelling videos.

Before we start, I want to be clear: I’m not looking for basic editing with random stock footage and subtitles. I need someone who can take a voiceover, sourced footage, research, and references, then turn it into a strong documentary-style video with good pacing, tension, visuals, sound design, and attention to detail.

I will provide:

Video idea

Script/voiceover

Research and content sources

Footage/images where possible

Reference videos

Clear direction and feedback

The editor should be able to handle:

Documentary-style YouTube editing

Strong pacing and retention

Motion graphics

Map animations when needed

Sound design and music timing

Text callouts and visual emphasis

Archive footage/images/articles/maps

Visual storytelling that follows the voiceover closely

This is for a new channel, so I’m looking for someone who is honest about their skill level and can grow with the project. Quality matters more than quantity.
