Someone asked a website-builder founder: "How is SEO impacted if I migrate?"
Nobody answered. Here's the checklist I'd follow on any move.
Before anything changes, export every URL the old site has. Blog posts, old landing pages, all of it.
Keep the same URLs where you can. Where you can't, redirect each old URL to its closest new page. Not everything to the homepage.
Copy over page titles and descriptions, not just the content.
Submit the new sitemap the day you launch. Then watch Search Console for broken pages for a few weeks.
The usual cause of a traffic drop after a move is missing redirects, not the new platform.
If you're moving your site soon, what worries you most?
I think the biggest worry would be losing traffic without even realizing what went wrong. Redirects are easy to overlook, but they can make such a big difference!
SAS & B.O.B.: Wrong Portal
SAS & B.O.B.: Wrong Portal is a short sci-fi comedy about a weathered mining saucer, an overly curious Sasquatch (SAS) and a Grey alien (B.O.B.) whose diagnostics fail to account for one impulsive fingertip. One unstable portal later, they crash-land at CapCut World LA before B.O.B. attempts a dignified rescue.
As a visual artist creating custom charcoal, graphite, and painted portraits, taking commissions through social media DMs is chaotic. You spend hours answering repetitive pricing questions, chasing high-resolution reference photos, calculating frame sizes, and tracking revision notes instead of actually creating art.
I built AtelierFlow on Base44 to replace messy DMs with a luxury, end-to-end automated fine art commission studio and client portal—featuring my own original artwork.
Key Automations & Features Built on Base44:
AI Reference Photo Analyzer & Dynamic Quote Engine: Collectors select their medium (Charcoal, Oil & Acrylic, Graphite, or Digital), dimensions, subject count, and framing, then upload a reference photo. Base44's AI analyzes the photo's lighting and contrast quality, calculates real-time pricing and delivery dates based on the active studio queue, generates a unique tracking code, and dispatches an automated confirmation email.
1-Click Studio Milestone Pipeline & Client Approval Loop: In the Artist Studio OS dashboard, advancing a commission stage (e.g., from "Reference Approved" to "Initial Sketch Ready") automatically recalculates progress, triggers an AI-drafted client update email, logs the event in the live Automation Activity Feed, and unlocks side-by-side work-in-progress previews in the Collector Tracking Portal.
24/7 AI Collector Concierge: Guides visitors on choosing the right medium and sizing, answers framing/shipping questions, and pre-fills their commission brief automatically.
How Judges Can Test in 30 Seconds:
Use the top "Demo View" toggle in the navbar to switch instantly between the public "Collector Experience" (Gallery, AI Configurator & Live Tracking Portal) and the backend "Artist Studio OS" (Kanban Pipeline, Live Automation Logs & Studio KPIs) with zero login friction.😊
