Let me teach you how to make a static logo feel alive
I'm no Spider-Man, but I do swing around motion design a bit. For this challenge, I'm walking you through how I animated the logo for DEHORS, a hiking club I genuinely loved working on! It's a real client project and a real process.
Concept, hunting for royalty-free photos that hit the right outdoorsy mood and color tone (harder than it sounds 😅), and the small movement trick that makes it feel alive without overdoing it in After Effects.

Today on last day I got to know that what were the challenge guidelines were to edit in Descript editor. But anyhow that's my first time in any challenge and I believe that's how we learn. Nothing complicated! duplicate the some layers, flip em, add some blur, and fade it with a gradient.
The interesting part is getting the opacity and blur right so it actually feels like a reflection instead of a blurry copy sitting underneath.

Motion is a way to take something complex and give it rhythm, structure, and meaning.
That’s where I believe motion design makes the difference: not by adding movement to every frame, but by knowing what to show, what to leave out, and where to guide the viewer next.
Because when the story is clear, the product has a better chance to be understood.💭
Knowing what to leave out is the hardest part to explain to a client who wants everything moving at once. Do you talk them down from that up front, or just let a restrained first draft make the case on its own?
