One of my favourite things to do is build product concepts that don’t exist yet
This one is Takway × Nintendo: a small gadget that houses an AI pet.
It responds to touch, movement, and quiet moments. The idea isn’t utility, it’s companionship.
Nintendo feels like the right inspiration: simple, playful, and full of character.
I’m curious, do you think gadgets should be made to feel alive, like companions or just tools?

Why "aftrglo"?
When I was dreaming about building my own product, I thought technical limitations would be the thing standing between me and the dream.
Turns out, the hardest part was naming it 😤
I spent monthsss in naming hell.
Nothing clicked. I kept trying to name it.
And trying...
And trying.....
Until it exhausted me so much that I stopped completely.
And then, in a random quiet moment, it arrived. I remember putting my cup on the table and suddenly feeling the name. It hit me so clearly that I literally sat down.
aftrglo!
Because the project doesn't end when the design is done.
There is still one last step:
to show it
And somehow, that step can feel heavier than it should
But showing your work should feel like a small celebration.
A good aftertaste.
A soft stretch after an intense workout.
Not one more heavy lift when your creative muscles are already shaking.
