Most students don’t struggle because they lack ability.

I built Career Genie to solve that gap.
It’s an AI-powered career and scholarship intelligence system that doesn’t just suggest careers, it continuously builds an understanding of the student over time.
Instead of static recommendations, the system adapts as the user evolves:
their skills, interests, academic background, and behavior.
It’s built around multiple AI agents working together:
• Career Agent → career path reasoning
• Resume Agent → role alignment and optimization
• Mentor Agent → ongoing guidance and conversation
On top of that, I integrated a RAG-based knowledge system for careers, scholarships, and courses, along with live market context to keep recommendations relevant.
The goal wasn’t to build a recommendation tool.
It was to move toward a system that behaves more like intelligence than static advice.

Last Seen - Places disappear. Their stories don't have to.
Last Seen is an archive of lost places and the memories people left behind. A living record of the places that shaped us, before they disappear from memory as completely as they have from maps.
The research
Before writing a line of code I posted to Reddit. "What closed place do you still think about?" Three subreddits. Three cities. 217,000 views. 1,652 replies. The Astoria. Shunt Vaults. CBGB. Florent. The problem was real before I built anything.
The Figma workflow
Figma Weave generated the visual language, aged paper textures, film grain overlays, archival map treatments. The Design Agent built the complete design system from a single prompt, colour styles, typography, eight components, page layouts, brand guidelines. The result is a 16-frame horizontal brand identity deck published to the Figma Community.
Two Figma Make widgets built and published to Community, Memory of the Day and Still Here, pulling real memories from a live Supabase database in real time.
The product
Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Supabase, Mapbox GL JS, Vercel. 103 places across five cities. A heatmap showing where memory concentrates across continents. Real memories from real people. An admin queue, rate limiting, auto-geocoding, profanity filtering, i18n across six languages.
825 unique visitors in three days. The archive keeps growing.

Interesting references don't always come from the same category.
This was an old social media design experiment for a bond repair shampoo in a minimalist style.
Searching for shampoo ads usually leads to more shampoo ads. Water splashes, ingredients, and hair strands have been explored for decades, so it's easy to end up with visuals that feel familiar.
Some of the references for this concept came from nature instead of beauty campaigns. The gecko wasn't there just for decoration. Its texture and regenerative qualities opened up compositions that I wouldn't have reached by looking at beauty ads alone.
Using more colors, more elements, and showing the entire product doesn't automatically make a visual stronger. Especially for social media, the first job is to stop the scroll.
Sometimes showing only a part of the product, leaving plenty of negative space, or introducing an unexpected element creates more curiosity and interaction than another product shot.
Rules are useful, but they're not always the answer. Small changes are often enough to make people stop and take a second look. A few frames from an old exploration.
