These character illustrations were created during the pre-AI era, long before generative tools accelerated visual production. Every piece was conceptualized and hand-crafted by me in Adobe Illustrator, built from scratch through layers, color exploration, and a lot of trial and error.
COVID became an unexpected period of self-discovery for me. While everything felt uncertain, I chose to use that time to teach myself Adobe Illustrator from the ground up. These character designs were some of my earliest structured projects, where I began trusting my instincts, especially around color, personality, and visual storytelling.
Looking back this was the foundation that shaped how I approach design today.
