some really good advices here
congrats on 50k milestone btw🔥
Things I wish I knew when I started my business:
1. Don’t rely on one income stream
Build multiple revenue sources: client work, retainers, digital products, partnerships, etc.
2. Ask for reviews
Happy clients are your biggest asset.
3. Turn clients into referrals

Good of you Bro... Any more advice for us
25K on Contra is a milestone worth celebrating. Congratulations! 🎉 Always inspiring to see creative talent turn great work into meaningful client relationships.
For me, good design goes beyond aesthetics. It's about understanding the vision, solving problems, and turning ideas into experiences people remember.
I'm building across graphic design, web design, and digital experiences, bringing together creative thinking, strong visual execution, and attention to detail. I'm ready to bring that approach to ambitious brands and teams looking for thoughtful, high-quality work.
The right collaboration can turn great ideas into something exceptional. Here's to more of them. 🚀
I started getting the things I used to pray for… and somehow, I still felt behind. 😭.Lemme explain
My first gigs. My first payment. New opportunities. The hope of landing bigger clients.
Every time I achieved something, I'd celebrate for a moment, then immediately start chasing the next thing.
It was never enough.
And I realised I was so focused on who I wanted to become that I wasn't appreciating who I was becoming already.
So this new week, I'm working on changing one thing:
Instead of measuring my growth only by what I achieve, I'm focusing on the person I'm becoming.
The designer who keeps learning.
The person who stays consistent.
The builder who keeps creating, even when there's no client waiting to pay.
Like this shoe-shopping app concept I'm sharing today. 👟
It's not a client project. I'm building because I want to sharpen my skills, explore ideas, and become better at my craft.
Not every project has to pay you today to make you more valuable tomorrow.
This week, I'm choosing growth over pressure and progress over comparison.
What are you working on this week that's helping you become a better version of yourself? 👇🏽
