FGV’s Design System
When I joined FGV, the institution’s websites were developed independently, each with its own visual style, without alignment to the official brand guidelines and with limited mobile responsiveness. This lack of consistency resulted in a fragmented user experience, weakened visual unity, and ultimately devalued the brand perception. The creation of a centralized Design System was essential to address these issues, establishing a cohesive, modular, and scalable visual language across all digital properties. As a result, FGV’s websites gained visual consistency, improved usability, and seamless navigation between platforms, strengthening brand recognition and delivering a more intuitive and reliable experience for users.

A photo viewer inspired by the classic 3D View‑Master.
I wanted to rethink how we look back at our memories on our phones, and bring back that slow, nostalgic feeling instead of the usual quick swipe through.
So I attempted to mimic the View‑Master lever, you press and pull the circle in either direction to switch images. Drag it right to move forward, drag it left to go back. I added the ability to move backwards (which you can’t do on the real thing) because it just felt more natural to give people that freedom. For the UI, I designed it to be clear and simple whilst allowing the image the user is viewing to be the main focus.

That’s why I built "Presence" as an interaction for the #FigmaMakeathon – a way to send more than words, GIFs or emoticons.
With a simple press-and-hold, your emotion travels to someone else’s phone – as colour, rhythm, motion, and haptic pulses. They don’t just see your message; they feel it. Calm, feeling warm, excited, or simply “I’m here with you”. And when they hold back, the connection becomes reciprocal, real, and human.
It’s a way to bring human presence into digital conversation – the part texting may sometimes fail to reach.
