Waymark: Every official letter, explained in your language
The problem
Every year, millions of migrants in Spain receive official letters from Extranjería, Social Security or the tax office. They’re written in dense legal Spanish, the deadlines are counted in working days, and missing one can mean a lost appointment, a rejected renewal or a fine. Most people end up guessing, or waiting days for help.
What Waymark does
• Scan a letter: take a photo or upload the PDF and get a plain explanation in your own language: what it is, who sent it, and what happens if you ignore it.
• Real deadlines: Waymark counts working days properly, skipping weekends and public holidays, and puts every deadline on a timeline with reminders.
• Clear next steps: a checklist of the documents you need, the official office and the official page to check.
• 6 languages, including right-to-left support, so the whole app works for the person who actually got the letter.
• Document vault: passport, TIE and other documents, with expiry warnings.
• Assistant: answers paperwork questions in your language, grounded in official Spanish sources.
The automation
Waymark doesn’t stop at explaining the letter. It handles what comes after:
• Daily reminders for deadlines and expiring documents
• Automatic chasing of missing documents
• An Automation Center where you can run today’s automations and watch each step
• An activity feed that logs everything that was done for you
• A case dashboard for gestorías and NGOs to triage deadlines across many clients
How I built it
I built Waymark entirely in Base44, prompt by prompt: first the landing page and core flow, then multilingual support, then the letter-scan automation and deadline logic, then document chasing and the Automation Center. I finished with a full test-and-fix pass on desktop and mobile. The video shows the build process and the finished app.

Waymark is a guide, not legal advice. It always points you to the official source.
