It's 11:47 PM. You make a profile, start swiping, and five strangers want to match with you. Some of them aren't
strangers. Some of them aren't alive. Chat with your matches, choose your replies carefully, and see who still wants you
when the clock hits midnight.
Features used: CLI + GPU Canvas (both)
Rive CLI: the whole game was built in code with an AI agent (Claude Code), using RML markup for the layout, the state
machine, and the data binding.

card swiping with drag physics
a branching chat with 24 lines per character, which never repeat back to back
a game clock counting down to midnight
a haunted UI that glitches and corrupts the closer midnight gets
procedural sound with a mute toggle
a death screen that tells you who unmatched you
Data binding: one App view model drives every screen, from the profile intro to the deck, chats, midnight, and START OVER.
GPU Canvas: five custom WGSL shaders handle the photo distortion on the profile cards, the old-paper texture, the screen
corruption, the tombstone, and the midnight scare.
Best with sound on 🔊. Works on desktop (click and drag) and phones (swipe).
