Project title: GlanceX — Zero-Leak Enterprise Excel Search Engine
Description: GlanceX is a privacy-first web application designed for searching large Excel and CSV datasets while keeping search queries on the user’s device.
I developed the application with a focus on privacy, secure data handling, performance, and offline usability.
Key features:
~ Zero-query-leak search: Queries run locally in browser memory using Web Workers rather than being sent to the server.
~ Secure cloud storage: Shared files use AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and are decrypted in server memory for authorized access.
~ Dual modes: Supports both offline local .xlsx/.csv search and a centralized authenticated team directory.
~ Privacy monitoring: Includes a browser network interceptor to detect and block unauthorized data-transfer attempts.
~ Offline capability: Uses Web Workers and IndexedDB caching for local search and continued usability during network interruptions.
~ Authentication & governance: JWT authentication, Bcrypt password hashing, password-strength enforcement, admin reset verification, and automatic sheet purging.
