AI wrote it in 30 seconds. A client almost received it.
Early on, we used AI to draft a proposal follow up.
Looked clean. Wanted to send at that instant lol.
BUT It referenced a feature we never discussed
And signed off with a name that wasn't mine.
30 minutes saved, would've costed 3 months of trust.
That day we made a rule:
AI output is a draft.
Always. No exceptions.
Not because AI is bad. Because AI is confident.
And confident + wrong is the most expensive mistake in business.
So we built a cleanup layer, snag it:
The Brain Dok:
This is the AI mind, here we have our company details, offerings, a simple information deck + how we talk and structure our messages.
-> starts off AI in seconds with your touch & data
The Second pass:
"Critique this against the brain doc. Flag anything non existing, generic, off tone, or risky. List issues, don't fix them yet."
-> Trust ME! AI is good at nit picking, if you make it do that!
The Red Line:
Have rules for rejection/need for editing.
made up data/numbers.
placeholder promises, timelines.
stupid padded text, ai loves fooling around -> This list of flags help you clean fast!
The human read (Final rule): human reads anything client-facing, out loud, once. Hhaha yes Out loud -> This helps you clear all the flags and catch anything that seems off.
Same logic for code:
→ AI generates
→ automated checks run (linting, tests, security scan)
→ human reviews like it's a rushed PR.
The harness catches what excitement misses.
Total system cost: maybe 5 minutes per output.
Cost of skipping it: one email that makes your client wonder if you even care.

I remember when AI became a sensation a few years ago. Everyone was amazed by the realistic quality and the infinite possibilities for creation. It was new, exciting, fun—but also intimidating.
Fast-forward to today. Even though its popularity has grown and the technology has improved significantly, I've realized that many people who are not experienced with these tools have developed certain expectations about them.
AI = Fast = High Quality = Cheap
No.
Yes, tools like Nano Banana, Kling, and Seedance can produce impressive results, but don't forget that behind those results is a person sitting at a computer, iterating over and over and over again until they find that "perfect" final image.
I've had bad experiences with clients who think that just because I'm using AI, I should charge less.
"You use AI. You can do it in 20 minutes. Why are you charging so much?"
Well, what about the credits? What about post-production in Photoshop and Lightroom when needed? What about the constant back-and-forth to match branding guidelines and client feedback?
Those minutes and hours count too—not just the speed of Higgsfield, Kling, or ComfyUI.
And what about our hardware? Our storage drives? Our electricity costs? Our subscriptions?
Know your value.
Just because you're using AI doesn't mean you're an emotionless robot working nonstop, generating endless iterations for cheap dollars.
Take your time. Trust your process. Don't fall for the "it's instant and effortless" narrative that many content creators promote—or that some clients expect.
Plan your work. Define your goals. Sometimes a single image can take hours to get right.
If a client thinks that because something is generated quickly it should automatically be cheap, the answer is still:
No.
Know your value. Have a detailed understanding of how much you spend on credits, software, hardware, post-production, and revisions.
Clients are paying for results, experience, taste, creative direction, problem-solving, and the countless hours you've invested in mastering these tools—not just for the seconds it takes an AI model to render an image.

Every n8n workflow has the same shape.
Three parts. Every single time.
Trigger → Processing → Action
That's it. Let me break it down in plain English:
Trigger
→ This is what starts the whole thing — a phone call ends, a form gets submitted, an email lands in your inbox.
→ Nothing runs until the trigger fires. It's the domino that tips everything else.
Processing
→ This is the middle — where the workflow reads the data, makes decisions, and branches based on conditions.
→ "If the caller wants to book, go this way. If they want to cancel, go that way." Logic. Rules. No guessing.
Action
→ This is the outcome — log the CRM, send the confirmation email, book the calendar slot, send a confirmation SMS.
→ This is the part the business actually sees. Everything before it exists just to make this happen correctly.
Here's a real one from my own work:
AI receptionist takes a call → n8n reads what the caller needed, checks which service they asked about, confirms the appointment details → books the slot in Google Calendar and sends the client a confirmation SMS.
No human touching it. No appointment falling through the cracks.
That's what n8n does. It takes the conversation and turns it into a business outcome.
The AI talks. n8n does the work.

The Anti-AI exercises are a genuinely interesting design decision. Most productivity tools push you further into AI dependency. Building in deliberate mental exercises that don't involve AI as part of the core flow is a counterintuitive but sensible response to the problem you identified.
