Been working on my portfolio for the past 10 days.
From designing everything in Figma to bringing it all to life in Framer it’s taken a lot of time, but seeing it come together has been worth it.
Still a work in progress, but I’m getting very close to wrapping it up.
Here’s a look at some of the pages so far. 👀

Great work but I have a question that designing everything in figma and then going to framer works better or just do all together in the framer from the start. I learning framer do let me know if thats hard or easy?
Hmm, personally I design in Figma first because if I start directly in Framer, it’s harder for me to figure out the design flow. I usually design every page in Figma with proper prototyping first, then bring it into Framer and build everything there, including the animations....

Designing in Figma first then building in Framer is the right call for most people. One thing that saves me hours: I set the Figma layout on the same breakpoint widths Framer uses and name my layers the way I want the CMS structured, so the rebuild becomes assembly instead of...
Yeah, 100%. Keeping the same breakpoints in Figma makes the Framer build way smoother. And the CMS structure tip is a good one...Definitely trying that next time 🙌
Transitioning a layout smoothly from Figma into Framer is so satisfying! Building your own portfolio is always the hardest project, but the polish on these layouts shows the time was well spent. Looking forward to seeing the live site launch!
Yeah, it might take another month or so 😅 There are still quite a few details and pages I need to work on, but I’m sure the outcome will be worth it. Really looking forward to seeing it live too!

Thanks Asif! Yeah, that’s pretty much how I’m approaching it too. Figma just feels faster for getting the layout and type right before moving into Framer. And yeah, I agree on keeping the interaction-heavy stuff in Framer early. 🙌

Hero 1 shows the hero text very well but you might need to work on the Hero CTA for "join the masterclass", I will probable miss it as a key action if I was a regular user
Sometimes it’s hard to visualise data clearly without overwhelming users, but that’s what we aim for.
A snippet from daily design explorations using Magicpath and Figma.
The chart keeps the progress story legible without turning the dashboard into a wall of metrics. The bright gradient is a bold backdrop, while the centered white card gives the key numbers a clear focal point.
Logo design for StocksWithJosh, a prominent online trading mentor with 195K YouTube subscribers.
The concept was simple: blend the initials SWJ with a subtle nod to his status as the "GOAT" (Greatest Of All Time), a moniker earned from his community.
The result is a bold, recognizable brand mark that fits his business perfectly.
What do you think of the end result?
The mark reads instantly at thumbnail size, and the framed SWJ lockup gives it a strong YouTube-avatar presence. The subtle crown/GOAT cue is a nice detail without overpowering the initials.
