For the @Base44 #GiveItAGlow challenge, I gave Soft Days a digital glow-up.
Soft Days curates slow, intentional trips across Africa for creatives looking to rest, reconnect, and explore. Last year, I went on one of their trips to Cotonou with a friend as a creative break, and it was such a refreshing experience. So when this challenge came up, I thought, who better to build for?
Before: Softdayyysss mainly relied on Instagram to showcase trips and handle bookings. Interested travelers had to send DMs to ask about pricing, what's included, and which trip would suit them best.

After: I designed and built a fully responsive website in Base44 that brings the same calm, thoughtful feeling of their trips online.

The new experience includes:
• A premium, editorial-inspired homepage
• Dedicated trip pages with itineraries, pricing, and inclusions
• A smooth reservation flow
• A desktop and mobile accessible experience
The highlight is Find My Soft Day, an AI-powered travel guide that helps visitors discover the best trip based on their budget, travel style, and preferences, making it much easier to find the right escape without endless back-and-forth.
I added an AI-powered recommendation flow that:
• Guides visitors through a conversational travel quiz
• Recommends the most suitable trip
• Captures qualified leads for the business
• Pre-fills the reservation flow for a smoother booking experience
•n Instantly notifies the Softdayyysss team when a reservation is made
This was a fun one to build, and I hope it shows how a simple, thoughtful digital experience can make discovering and booking a trip feel just as relaxing as the trip itself.
