The Genesis Story: Part 3 🧠If you told me two months ago that I’d be a software designer, I would have laughed.
I’ve always been drawn to creative technology. I started learning Adobe Creative Suite before it was CS. I made art with AI before most knew it could be done. But there is a massive difference between using software and building it from scratch!
The last 6 weeks were a total crash course in software creation. I went from being a generative AI power user to a software designer via vibe-coding. I’d never actually coded, just followed specific tutorials.
Making any program would have been an accomplishment. But making THIS program—a tool that solves the exact workflow frustrations I’ve had—is an indescribable feeling pride.

I tried exploring it by building a journaling app prototype to see how well it handles design.
From my experience, it still feels quite early.
It took quite a few iterations to get to a decent layout, even with detailed prompts, so I wouldn’t rely on it too much for design quality just yet.
That said, I really like how you can turn generated screens into an instant prototype and test interactions right away.
It makes it great for exploring ideas and quickly testing concepts.
