I was a bit worried when Framer launched their native ai integration in Framer 3.0.
I had just released my AI Design to Framer plugin a few days before.
"Is my plugin now redundant?"
But it's actually the perfect match.
Don't spend your tokens rebuilding designs generated in another tool.
Just import it directly into Framer using the plugin and spend your tokens improving it instead.
The framing of this is smart. Native AI doesn't kill a good integration layer, it makes it more useful. Bridging between tools is exactly the kind of problem that deserves its own solution.
Played around with the new Framer agent today.
Ran out of credits halfway through, so I finished the code fixes with ChatGPT 😅
The result: a fully customizable scratch reveal component, down to the smallest detail, including mobile responsiveness.
