"A knight's story"
this creation was inspired by a fictional interpretation of the
Nuremberg Armor from the Met public archive. The original piece is a German suit of armor made in Nuremberg around 1520, constructed from steel and leather. Its distinctive fluted surfaces reflect the transition from late Gothic armor toward the fuller forms associated with the Maximilian style.
The video explores the stages of the armor as part of an environment that's left a trace in history, a strong way of understanding the journey both personally and in the context it was created in.
The challenge was to communicate a specific feeling and to leave the viewer with a story they can complete;
