This project explores the relationship between artificial intelligence and human intuition. AI helped create countless visual directions, but the final design was shaped by something technology cannot replicate: empathy, taste, emotion, and purpose. Every rejected idea, every small adjustment, and every intentional choice became part of the story. The design was not selected because it was the most perfect. It was selected because it felt the most human. AI can generate. Humans understand. AI can imagine. Humans give meaning. The future of design is not human versus AI. It is human guided by AI.

Kokeshi set out to turn recycled Japanese textiles into a contemporary luxury fashion brand, with the budget of a startup rather than an established label. I developed the brand concept, Beautiful Violence, contrasting refined craftsmanship with samurai culture: heritage, strength, and rebellion within a high-fashion visual world. To bring that vision to life before physical production, I used AI to rapidly create high-end visuals and films defining the brand's aesthetic and storytelling, giving Kokeshi the presence and polish of an established luxury label from day one.
