PixelWave is a browser-based audio visualizer that turns
any MP3 or WAV into real-time pixel animations. It includes
4 visualization modes, 4 color themes, a curated tape
library, and a beat-sync game where the audio waveform
becomes playable terrain. Built with vanilla HTML/CSS/JS
and the Web Audio API. No server, no uploads — everything
runs locally in the browser.
How I Used Stitch
I brought my concept into Stitch using
"Start from existing design." Stitch streamed the
generation of all screens directly to the canvas
as separate editable frames. I used in-place AI edits
to refine screens where the canvas reset mid-generation.
Those screens defined the visual direction and component
structure of the full build, deployed to Netlify.
The "Start from existing design" feature was the most
useful part — importing my HTML file and getting 5
separate editable frames immediately saved a lot of time.
The main friction I encountered was with undo/redo:
when I tried to undo a change on one frame, it reverted
all frames back to an earlier state, not just the
specific edit. This made iterating carefully on
individual screens less predictable.
Overall Stitch significantly sped up going from
concept to structured screens.

The beat sync game idea is pretty creative. Not many entries are exploring audio as the core experience. Also agree on the undo issue, ran into a few similar moments while iterating.

I made it while building aftrglo — a bigger project to make sharing creative work online feel lighter. Prism is one small creative wander from that process. And today it gets its own little launch 🐣
Built for creatives who want to add that strange little something to a visual without opening heavy software.
It came from the same place as all my experiments:
I made something for myself,
kept playing with it,
then realized it might be useful for someone else too.
So I cleaned it up and decided to share it before the bigger project is ready.

Bringing ideas to life faster with Google Stitch ✨
For this challenge, I explored how Stitch can transform a simple concept into a fully interactive creative experience using AI-powered workflows.
The project started with just two things:
📄 a custom design.md creative direction file
🖼️ a logo image for the project identity
Using Stitch’s new capabilities, the entire website was generated directly inside the canvas through streaming generations — turning concepts into a live experience in real time.
But it didn’t stop at generation.
I continued refining the project using:
⏩ prompt-based in-place AI editing
🖱️ point-and-click interactions directly inside Stitch
🎥 native motion, animation, shaders, and hover states on HTML canvas
🚀 one-click export support directly to Netlify
What makes this even more impressive is how Stitch combines the workflow of 4–5 different creative applications into one single platform — generation, editing, interaction design, motion, prototyping, and deployment all inside one experience.
From concept → iteration → interaction → deployment, the entire workflow stayed inside Stitch.
This experience shows how AI can dramatically speed up creative production while still allowing full artistic control and experimentation.
