Game Jam Update!
The maze is growing... and so are the obstacles. 🚧
Spent the morning refining the collision detection for my entry. It’s amazing how much 10 pixels of space can change the entire feel of a level! Still a lot of work to do, but the core loop is officially alive.

My entry for the Games with Rive challenge, finally! I was super happy to put my game dev skills to use.
⚔️ Battle Stride — a card-based dungeon crawler where you lay down path cards to guide a soldier through procedurally generated dungeons, battle enemies, and collect relics.
I used Rive's state machines to drive all the character and card animations, data binding to keep the HUD in sync with game state, and listeners for interactive hover and click effects on the cards.
All the art—characters, cards, tiles, and relics—was hand-drawn and animated in Rive's editor using vector shapes, then exported as lightweight files for the web.
Audio events in the state machine handle combat and pickup sounds. The whole thing runs in the browser with lightweight vector exports.

A fully functional 2D incremental clicker where you manage a grid, harvest resources, and automate an economy to fight a spreading virus.
• Designed with a solid GDD for balanced incremental math & upgrades.
• Grid Mechanics: Plant seeds & collect wood. Beware the dynamic "Rot" hazard that infects healthy tiles!
• Custom AI (Scripting): Smart targeting logic. The Sower plants, Reaper harvests, and Slime hunts the Rot.
• Economy: Reinvest wood to level up helpers for speed & massive Critical Hits.
• Tech Stack: Global state script for grid arrays, Data Binding for real-time UI, and State Machines for seamless animations.

My game submission is a colorful perception quiz game utilizing scripting and the AI agent.
Some highlights of the project:
• Game logic that adapts to difficulty and color ranges, while also balancing types of questions across the total rounds. All scalable.
• Particle system is reactive UI changes with built in presets to adjust the visuals on the fly.
• The game brain script only edits the view model with what the game logic feeds it, and the game flow progresses only through control in the state machine. This allows for clear separation to track bugs.
I learned a lot about scripting, state machines, and building working gameplay. Enjoy!
