🎵 What if everyone at a party could become part of the music?

🎉 Excited to share OneBeat, my submission for the Figma Config Makeathon! That question inspired OneBeat—a real-time multiplayer mobile app concept that transforms social gatherings into collaborative musical experiences. Instead of passively listening to music, every participant contributes to it. Users simply join a shared session, choose an instrument inspired by cultures from around the world, and instantly become part of a live musical composition—no musical knowledge required. The challenge was to design something with purpose—something that positively impacts people, communities, or the world. I wanted to explore how technology and design could bring people together through one universal language: music.

🌍 More than a music app, OneBeat is about connection. By introducing instruments from different cultures, the experience encourages cultural discovery, inclusivity, collaboration, and shared creativity. Whether it's a party, college event, community gathering, or cultural festival, OneBeat helps strangers become collaborators through music.

Throughout this project, I explored how AI can accelerate the design process by using multiple Figma AI tools, including Figma Make, MCP, Weave, AI-generated visuals, and prompt-to-code workflows to rapidly ideate, prototype, and refine the user experience.

This project reinforced something I deeply believe: the best products don't just solve problems—they create meaningful human connections.
