I ran a 'bake off' to see how much image quality changes across the five quality settings of OpenAI's GPT Image 2.5.
Each setting was asked to draw the same watch.
The difference only shows up when you zoom in on the dial, and the price runs from $0.09 an image at Low to $0.59 at Max, about six times more.
My recommendation is to pay for High when the product is a big close-up.
And use Low for everything else. Inside a normal Meta/Facebook Ad, Low and Max look similar.
