SPECTRE: Light-Driven Living Outlines
PRIMARY EFFECT
Bring your own effect: a custom shader that reads per-frame luminance and edge gradients and redraws the subject as glowing, chromatic living outlines, layered with alpha-matte echoes and shape-layer accents
PROCESS NOTE
Starting footage: AI-generated character footage I made from my own plan, imported into invideo Editor. The import is shown in the video.
What I asked the agent: I described the SPECTRE look in chat: outlines drawn from the light in every frame, chromatic fringing, echo trails and beat-synced impact flashes. The agent wrote the custom shader, built the alpha-matte and shape layers, applied the effect to my clips and gave me controls.
What I refined: I directed every change in chat. I asked for stronger impact hits, a cleaner outline, a side-by-side original vs SPECTRE comparison, rounded screen-recording cards with zooms and pans, and a raw-to-SPECTRE slider that ends on the invideo logo. The agent re-tuned its controls each time. The editable timeline is linked.
Music and sound design: both AI-generated. The agent designed the sound, including transitions, hits and ducking under the voiceover.

I wanted this film to feel like a traditional impressionist oil painting slowly coming to life. Every scene carries a little nostalgia, with a story told entirely through visuals and narration.

I like the character design
Effect: Bar reveal.
Starting footage: a latte art pour clip from a free-licence stock site (pexels.com). I asked the invideo timeline agent to build a bar reveal with 8 espresso-brown bars that slide away to uncover the pour, then asked for two cream bars like milk streaks, and then a reveal that finishes by 1.5 seconds with a slow push-in. I refined the zoom and position myself in the Inspector. invideo Editor is free to try.
