A few days ago, I shared some of my mobile design work with you all here — and I'm excited to say that design has turned into a real app: the first version of Glean is now live on the App Store! 🚀

Glean turns your iPhone into a private document scanner: capture anything, get a crisp, searchable PDF, and keep it exactly where you want it.

What sets it apart is privacy by design. Scanning and text recognition happen entirely on your device — no servers ever see your documents, no analytics, no tracking. Your scans stay on your iPhone, and sync to your own Google Drive only if you choose.

✨ Highlights

Automatic edge detection + one-tap clean-up (removes shadows & glare, sharpens text)

On-device OCR → fully searchable PDFs, even offline

Optional Google Drive, organized into a folder you control

I designed and built Glean end to end — product, UI/UX, and engineering — under my studio, TechFoundry. Built with React Native (Expo) and native iOS scanning + on-device text recognition.

Putting together that much feedback and planning really shows in the final design. It is clear you took the time to gather input from different people and actually applied it instead of just going with your first idea.

Lately, I’ve been diving deep into Cursor, Claude, and AI agents.

Instead of just watching tutorials, I decided to learn by building something myself — a Figma plugin from scratch. There are already plenty of similar solutions out there, but my goal was to understand the entire creation process, from idea to a working product.

And here’s the result: I went from zero knowledge to a functioning plugin in just two days.

The plugin already helps identify issues in design files and highlights things that are easy to miss during day-to-day work. Of course, I’m still not 100% satisfied with it — there’s always room for improvement. But for a first attempt, I’m pretty happy with the outcome.

The most exciting part is that while building it, I started coming up with new ideas for Design System automation: naming conventions, component structure, style organization, and other repetitive tasks that could be streamlined with AI.

Looks like this is just the beginning 😄

Tech stack: Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, and the Figma Plugin API.
