ACSI is a social media feed simulation that detects compulsive scrolling and progressively intervenes to restore cognitive control. Inspired by dopamine-driven anticipation loops and the Variable Ratio Reinforcement Schedule by B. F. Skinner.
1–11s: feed normal. 12–23s: saturation drops, animations slow 30–40%. 24–35s: one post locked for 2s. 36–48s: screen pauses.
Note: Timings are simplified; production would calculate them dynamically.
