So I decided to hop on the trend… 😅
What if Spotify made a dating app?
Because apparently knowing someone’s favorite artist might tell you more than “I love food, travelling and good vibes” ever could. 😂
Instead of endlessly swiping based on pictures, I imagined a dating experience built around music taste, moods and shared playlists.
You match with someone and Spotify goes:
“88% compatible — you both listen to SZA at unreasonable hours.”
Now that’s useful information. 😭
The concept includes music-based compatibility scores, shared playlists, mood discovery, concert date ideas and even icebreakers based on the songs you listen to.
Basically…
less “hey 👋”
more “why is this song in your On Repeat?”
Would you actually use a Spotify dating app? 👀
And more importantly…
Would bad music taste be a dealbreaker? 😂
