Tried building a Flappy Bird-style game in Rive today.
After an hour of state machines, triggers, and transitions… all I managed to create was a ball that falls beautifully, but refuses to jump. 😅
It made me realize how powerful (and humbling) interactive motion design really is. It’s not just animation. It’s logic, systems, and precision.
Huge respect to everyone who masters Rive and builds real interactive experiences with it. It’s a different level for me.
I think you accidentally created Lazyball. I'd play it. 😂

I create a curling game, with the Winter Olympics just finished.
I've also added a little easter egg (watch until the end) which might have something to do with Canada's curling scandal during this year's Olympics 😊
It includes:
Stone throwing mechanic
Player input controls the force and direction of the throw.
Sweeping system
Sweeping dynamically alters the stone’s trajectory, mimicking real curling mechanics.
Collision detection
Stones interact with each other and the environment in real time.
Scoring logic
Points are calculated based on stone position at the end of each round.

I thought I'd share a short breakdown exploring the systems and ideas behind the project so far!
Very cool breakdown 👌 Always interesting seeing how different people structure interaction systems in Rive.
Built the classic Snake game entirely inside Rive using scripting and data binding.
This was an experiment pushing Rive beyond animation into interactive systems.
Movement, food spawning, and game state are all driven by Lua while the UI stays synced through a ViewModel.
Still polishing the web export, but the core gameplay is working and it was a fun challenge to build.
