A work in progress:
Getting Out There.
How pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, even at times far away from home, changes your perspective, and thus your mental health.
Depleted, broken and lost. They are words we hear often, and they remain circling, thankfully a lot of us don't recognise them personally. For some people, it will stay that way, a turn down the wrong path or a dark patch is just that. A moment. But for others, it becomes livelihood, the very thing someone has to survive through. Living becomes a chore, a world swallowed by fears, without enough energy to drop your foot to the floor in the morning.
That was me. No psychological guidance or much knowledge of what to do and where to go.
So how does that change, or can it? Simple answer, humbly and without scholarship that is, I don't believe it does. Once you carry such a load, new or old, it's not so simple to take that weight off. But it can be shifted.
