KOWEAR AI-Powered Fashion E-Commerce Website
Most "AI shopping" features today are an afterthought: a chatbot bolted onto a normal storefront. KOWEAR is a concept e-commerce site for a futuristic techwear/luxury streetwear brand that explores the opposite approach, weaving AI directly into the core shopping experience itself, from styling advice to garment creation.
KOWEAR is built around four AI-native shopping tools layered on top of a cinematic, editorial-grade storefront:
AI Stylist Chat — a conversational assistant that takes a shopper's occasion, vibe, and budget, then curates a complete look from the catalogue in real time, with suggested prompts to help users get started.
Build My Outfit — a guided outfit generator where shoppers set a style vibe, color palette, and budget via a slider, and the AI assembles a coordinated outfit (jacket, footwear, smart wearable, etc.) with reasoning for each piece, plus a one-click "Add Full Look to Bag."
Design Studio — a parametric custom-garment generator: shoppers pick category, fabric, fit, vibe, and color, and the tool renders a unique AI-generated garment image in seconds.
AI Virtual Try-On — shoppers upload a photo, select a garment, fit, size, and color, and the AI generates a realistic preview of them wearing it, with clear messaging around how the photo is used and stored.
How it's built:
Built end-to-end, covering UX flow, visual design, and AI integration, using OpenAI's models and Python for the generation and styling logic. The site itself is styled in a dark, premium, cinematic aesthetic: a homepage with hero sections, curated collections, signature drops, lookbook-style storytelling, social proof, and an Instagram-style "reels" feed.
Why it matters:
The goal was to test how far AI can go beyond product recommendations into actual creative decision-making: not just "here's what you might like," but "here's a full outfit assembled for your exact vibe and budget," or "here's a garment that doesn't exist yet, generated to your spec." It's a look at where AI-native fashion retail is heading, from styling advice to fully custom, on-demand garment generation.
